Ajay Joseph T

Ajay has more than 20 years of experience as a legal professional and held senior positions in India and abroad managing legal work for companies in India, Southeast Asia, China, Europe, Dubai, and BVI.

During his career, he has worked in Landmark Group, Dubai, the largest retailer in the Middle East region, Aditya Birla Group, one of the largest Indian conglomerates, US MNC Caterpillar India, Infrastructure giant GMR Group and in diverse sectors like Retail, IT & ITES, Manufacturing, and Infrastructure.

Ajay has extensive experience in leading teams in cross-border M&A projects – inbound and outbound acquisitions – in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific regions.

Ajay holds graduate degrees in Commerce and Law. He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India since June 2002.

Lakshmi C Nair

Lakshmi is a corporate lawyer with extensive experience in general corporate advisory in India and in the UAE. She has a decade-plus of experience advising multinational and other companies in a range of legal, commercial, regulatory and compliance matters in India and UAE.

Lakshmi is also an experienced litigation lawyer having appeared in a range of matters in various courts.

Lakshmi is a postgraduate in Law and holds a Diploma in Cyber Law.

Abdul Wahid

Wahid is an experienced lawyer in commercial laws with a specialization in Family business. He has ~15 plus years of experience advising clients in a range of legal, commercial, regulatory and compliance.

Wahid holds graduate degrees in Commerce and Law. Wahid is a University gold medal winner in Law.

Amogh Diwan

CS Amogh Diwan is a legal professional with more than 5 years’ experience in legal research, audits, and legal consultancy in India.

Amogh has co-authored the following books published by Bloomsbury India Professional:

• ‘The Director’s Handbook’ (presently, 2nd edition)
• ‘Meetings – Notices, Resolutions and Minutes Under the Companies Act, 2013’ (presently, 3rd edition)
• ‘Company Law Procedures’ (presently, 6th edition)
• ‘Secretarial Audits under Corporate Laws and Annual Return Certification’
• ‘Ready Reckoner on the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017’

Besides, he was a Core Contributor for the commentary on company law, titled ‘ICSI Premier on Company Law – Volume I, Sections 1-148’ and has also contributed to Marathi Vishwakosh.

Amogh is also a regular speaker at professional programmes across the country.

During the year 2018, Amogh was a member of ‘Auditing Standards Board’, ‘ICSI Core Group of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and ‘Training, Education and Facilitation Committee’ of Western India Regional Council of ICSI.

In his rich academic journey, Amogh has secured multiple accolades. During his LL. M., he was recognised by the Department of Post-graduation in Law as ‘Student Par Excellence’ and secured 5th rank in University of Pune.

He was adjudged the ‘Best Legislative Drafter’ by Institute of Advanced Legal Studies during his ‘Certificate Course in Legislative Drafting’.

Amogh has completed 1 year Certificate Courses in ‘Law and Economics’ and Certificate Courses in ‘Financial Modelling’, ‘Financial Engineering & Structured Finance’ with distinction from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune.

Rohan Shinde

CS Rohan Shinde is a legal professional with extensive experience of working in Secretarial and Legal Departments of listed companies operating in manufacturing, service, and financial industries.

Rohan’s core areas include corporate restructuring, compliance management, and representation before various authorities. In his in-house career, he has also handled following tasks:

• Setting up compliance management process
• Corporate restructuring
• Conducting trainings for Independent Directors
• Insolvency resolution process
• Litigation management in various Courts and Tribunals
• Issue of debentures by NBFC

Rohan was awarded the ‘Best Employee in GP Global Group’ for establishing standards and processes in the group.

Rohan completed his law graduation from Government Law College, Mumbai. He has won several national moot court competitions. He was awarded as best speaker in many debate competitions at national and university level. He was the first winner of Narrative Jurisprudent Competition conducted by Mumbai University.

On the research front, Rohan has participated in various research programmes organised by Institute of Company Secretaries of India, published several papers in leading journals like Chartered Secretary and Taxmann as well as presented papers at international conferences. He won ‘Best Project’ prize during his training with ICSI.

K Venkata Sudheer

Sudheer is an experienced trial Lawyer who specializes in civil and commercial litigation, including arbitration, primarily in the areas of commercial, real estate including registration and other ancillary activities pertaining to real estate, Motor Vehicles Act matters, Family/Matrimonial disputes, succession matters and consumer disputes.

Sudheer has experience in appearing before the High Court on both the original and appellate sides, District Civil Courts, Magistrate and Sessions Courts, Debt Recovery Tribunals, Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunals, Labour Courts and Consumer Forums.

Sudheer graduated with a bachelor’s degree in law from the V.V. Puram Law College, Bengaluru in the year 1997. He enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Karnataka, India in 1998.
